If you would like to visit some of the most beautiful places in southern Germany while on holiday, Weyarn is a excellent base. Many of the most coveted holiday locations in Bavaria, such as Tegernsee with the spa and the monastery of the same name and Schliersee are just 30 minutes from the hotel. The mountain sports paradise of Garmisch, where the Zugspitze is located, can be reached in just over an hour. The world-famous Neuschwanstein Castle is also less than 2 hours away to the west.

Take a break with a relaxed round of golf, and enjoy the unique panorama of the nearby Alps. A network of cycle paths give you the opportunity to take enchanting cycling tours through meadows and woods, and past idyllic villages and hamlets. More serious athletes will find numerous mountain biking and climbing tours in the nearby Wetterstein Mountains, whatever the level of difficulty.

Our guests are drawn to the nearby ski slopes of Spitzingsee-Tegernsee or the famous Zugspitze at Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Within an hour or so’s drive you will reach multiple large winter sports regions and some of the ski regions and runs with the highest likelihood of snow in the northern Alps. The elevation and the special climate of the region often extend the ski season well into the spring.
